Edom ART Lab is an artistic community hub dedicated to cultivating sustainable creative careers. We bridge the gap between artistic talent and commercial stability by offering affordable resources designed to maximize artist profitability.
Our passion project is a FREE dynamic after-school program which embraces Fine Arts as an entrepreneurial exercise. In other words, it is a business simulator program and Fine Arts is its’ business. As a part of the business simulator program, each participant is involved in each of our Fine Arts workshops including theatre, music, visual arts and (coming soon) culinary arts. These workshops are led by local volunteers who are professional artists, professional musicians, entrepreneurs and/or certified teachers.
Our Fine Arts Business Simulator program is dedicated to empowering youth with the skills needed to run their own business via live theatre, music performances, art gallery sales, and (coming soon) culinary products.
Our mission is to cultivate a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where one can identify, explore and develop their gifts. Through a product and performance-based approach, we inspire self-expression, self-governance, discipline, and collaboration, equipping each of our artists with the confidence and skills to thrive artistically as well as personally.
Edom ART Lab is a 501(c)3 Texas State Non-Profit Corporation serving East Texas. Regarding our Fine Arts Business Simulator after-school program, we are a bus stop for the Van ISD in Van Zandt County, we also serve local homeschoolers, and we are less than 6 miles from Brownsboro ISD in Henderson County.
